Hey,

I just made my first 3D model using Milkshape. When I textured it some of the spots were kinda grey and black (the bottom of the middle). What do you do to prevent that?

The model does not have a clip in it.

By the looks of your model, it is'nt UV mapped correctly. Everything other than the side are showing off stretch lines. My guess is that you used a planer to uv map it, and only mapped it from a side view. Try mapping the whole thing so that all polys are spread flat out.

For milkshape and a first try this is really quite nice work. Love the texture although the UV map like lazerus said is very wrong.

Also i agree about the name it is very hard to read and made me wanna scream i suggest if you must blur it if you like it like that use a Gaussian blur doesn't hurt the eyes to much. But i would be inclined to leave it un-blurred and put an outer glow on the text.
