Dark GDK / Make the GDK window "smaller" to fit on buttons, etc.?

If I add a button over the DarkGDK window, it flickers so how would I resize it inside it's window? I have access to its HWND and hInstance, so how could I do it?

The flickering is because the you need to add the style 'WS_CLIPCHILDREN' to the DarkGDK window's styles (SetWindowLong)
