Quote: "GET FLASH PROPERTY$ returns the property of a Flash movie.

ARGUMENTS:
* Flash Number = The Flash number (between 1 and 256)
* Target Name = The name of the target
* Property Id = The Id of the property

RETURNS:
The value of the property.

SYNTAX
GET FLASH PROPERTY$ Flash Number,Target Name,Property Id,String Value"

The syntax is surely wrong, i suppose it is used like;
a$ = Get Flash Property$(1, "_root.someComboBox", property ID)

returns a string..

But, my question is, what is the property ID???

I want to get the "value" of combobox->property

There is always one more imbecile than you counted on.

duh, there are 21 property ID`s and they mostly give the movie specific info like width height posx posy as well as symbol properties like width height...etc
there are some more stuff but its hard to tell.
And i thought i could get common dialog properties like value, text...etc.

Anyways, just use variables in and out of your flash movie to dbpro when exchanging data.

There is always one more imbecile than you counted on.
