Dear all,

I've asked on 3DWS without much success, so can someone tell me what files I should expect when exporting to .X using 3DWS?

Ta.

Just the .X file. It may internally link to your textures, but export typically just gives you the .X file.

What about the _lm.x lightmap file? How do I get that?

All .X files loaded into DBPro just have ambient light - how do I get my light entities to work?

Ah yea. It's been quite a while but I remember that. I think you have to specifically export lightmaps. I don't have it installed on this computer or I would look.

Use the Render Lights menu (Ctrl-L) to set the size of the lightmap and the other relevant parameters, then don't forget to Render it, or the lightmap will be empty. Then File and Export, and export it to .DBO format. It will save the lightmap as a BMP file.
