When I use the command dbSetControlDevice(char*) I can change the current device but that device doesn't return input unless I change the current device back to the origional device.

I have the correct names of the devices. If I unplug the first one and restart the program then the remaining controler works just fine. Also I can unplug and replug in the controler during execution and the program still registers input. The char* I have for the controlers when both are plugged in are the same as when they are separate. All input I check is correctly done for either controler. Basically only the first controler DarkGDK recognizes works(this seems to be by alphabetical order of their names).

Essentially I want to dynamically change what controler is used from a GUI and not have to requier the user to plug in controlers in a specified order.
