FPSC Classic Product Chat / how do i make blood entities reflective or transparent

i noticed the only reason blood didnt look real in fpsc is because most of them didnt blend in with the floor/wall or didnt look like it was reflecting, of course some people have figured out how to do this, so i would love it if they could tell me how they did it

You'll need to create a decal (or find one) that already has this effect.

normal mapping it

making texture little bit transparant, paint.net, alpha mask plugin, edit the texture

since im using x10, is there anyway i can change settings to make everything reflectivy

incorrect, png will do it to, but as FPSC converts everything to dds, you are right
