now, my brother sat at my computer, and well Gmax was up and he did something.. so istead of a tab with the primitives and such it looks like this:

you want to move the primitives toolbar over to the side? well, I've never used Gmax but have you tried just clicking on an area of that toolbar and dragging it sideways?
