Vsync (vertical sync) controls whether or not your game is sync'ed with the refresh rate defined in your display settings for your video card, at least I think that is correct, someone correct me if I am wrong

I have found that disabling vsync allows the game to sync itself when it's ready, not when the video card is ready, but some 'tearing' may occur. So, I have an option in the config.ini of my game that allows enabling the vsync.

I just received the textures for the Scorpion Strike Cannon from Gears of War, which I must say are completely awesome, and I will be showcasing the SSC in another video soon, along with a new super weapon.

Third video released, showing off the new SSC weapon.

There are still some bugs, like bad rotation on teleports. Even though the SSC is a powerful weapon, bots will collect health pickups, and may not die on the first shot, as can be seen in this video.

I just sent you an email asking which weapon you wanted to work on next, before thinking "Hmm, maybe I should check the forums first"

Anyway, Rocket Launcher's on its way!

As for everyone that's thinking "OK where's the demo?"...
I want to fix a few things, then I'll be ready to release another demo. This will actually be the second demo, in case you didn't know about the one I released some time ago.

One of the most helpfull persons in the dbp comunity that helped me when i whas an totall stupid newbie to coding
I made an entry to an tgc competition called grunt with the help of xeridox.
I my self recentlt powered up dbp after 2 years
Not much time anymore to code that i love

Nice to see you too, Cliff! Yeah, that was when I made Return to Phobos for a 20-line competition, which gave me the inspiration to start Phenom. I always liked the level textures you made for Grunt. If you can still make them, I'm looking for more textures for Phenom, if you'd like to contribute

My problem nowdays is to get the time to do any textures or coding

Full time job and a lot of other stuff

And you know that you are free to use any of the textures from grunt as they are freeware from me

But i dont want to promise anything as iam trying to get the time to do an simple remake or something of an golden oldies game

Well, the game's theme is post-WW3, far in the future, but most of the military is gone, so people are finding things to make weapons out of, sometimes parts of other weapons are used to fashion together a new one, sometimes abandoned factories are used for weapons production.

So, some sci-fi, some grunged up steel and concrete, things like that. Walls, floors, ceilings, starship hulls, etc. You'll have to give me a link for Grunt, as I've reinstalled and formatted things since then....if I do still have it, it's hid good among over a terabyte of other stuff lol
