I've seen a video where a guy picked up a note that you had to read.
How do you do that?

You need to go to the scripting forums for that. It's not actually text, but an image that either comes up when you get close to it or press a key. You can also do other things besides notes like objects, clues, signs, ect.

I belive Signs IV sets that kind of stuff up for you automaticly


Sometimes you need "A Whack on the side of the Head"
to be more creative.
