Hello, I am new to the forums, and I wanted to know if anyone could give me a hand. I wanted to know if I could use a character as a static object? When I try this, the model just doesn't show up. Thanks in advance!

Hmmm, are you setting static to yes in the editor? Or changing the FPE?

And welcome to the forums!

or:

- give the character a static script (in your scriptbank)

or

- while the character is folowing your mouse press Y, and then place it somewhere.

.

Red eye, that won't work. If you make a character static in the editor it will be invisible in game.

Yea and when you give it the static script, it can still be moved if shot and after shooting it, it will turn towards you and stare at you and folow you around the room, really weird...

Ah, yep I am here to save the day. I have needed to do this before. All you need is an entity editor (Signs, Magic FPS, FPSC Entity Editor, ect.) Load the model and save it, this will just set it to the model default static with no animation and stuff.
