Get a better computer? It takes only a few seconds here...

Yeah, a faster CPU can really help with compile times. I have noticed that when compiling on my laptop with a 2.0GHz Intel Centrino the game I am working on can take up to 30 seconds to compile, where as on my desktop with an Intel e6750 at 3.5GHz the project takes around 5 seconds to compile.

Both computers run Vista 64.

My computer is not the problem I think... I have a Athlon 4600 X2 @ 2.70GHz. Earlier today it took about 15 seconds to compile my game. Anyways I just messed around with my project settings and now it doesn't freeze anymore compiling! Weird...

Setting optimization to full will cause a lot of slow-down too
