Oh yes it really does, but it is a start I am going to add some random object movement to give it the impression of floating and also i need to get it to float on the water surface, at the moment once it reaches the surface it just drops to the bottom and then starts to rise again.

A menu has been implemented but not the menu that will be in the final version. I haven made a menu with the buttons etc... I have just made the basic menu system, I haven't really done much with it yet, it will be the next thing I add probably.

I think so...haven't been messing with those commands right now.

EDIT: This isnt new, but just thought I would throw out some screens.

This is the default Airhud the mod comes with. The script, thanks to our scripter\Beta tester, Hockeykid.

When the air runs out, it gives a brief message, then your health depletes. If you get out of the water, your air recharges.

Hey I've been working on something myself. Its a simple script really but could be cool to have in a game. I think Ply already did something like this as well?

Anyways its a script that you attach to a triggerzone anywhere in the world to activate the script. The script is when the players health drops below a certain point (e.g under 30)the players vision begins to blur and the screen begins to shake and pulse a bit. Soon I'll add in a red hud or something that fades in and out to give a better effect. When I'm done ill email you it. BTW it used wizmod scripts

K well i have everything working in the script good now...yet the screenshake is a bit too agressive for my taste. Do you know of any other script that can shake the camera/players vision or move it around?

You'll need to work on those water physics a bit more. Mainly bouyancy of an object that's been thrown in. Heavier, less bouyant objects should ascend slower than objects that are more bouyant. Objects that are heavier than their "bouyancy" shouldn't ascend at all and should sink.

I also found it hard to watch the video due to the excruciating framerate, but I'll let the blame rest on the recorder for it. It was hard to tell what was moving and what wasn't with such low framerate.

The one and only,

The video recorder is absolutely attrocious, the frame rate is fine just a terrible recorder. There still needs to be some work on water physics, but they are getting better

Okay guys, here is my current WIP.

A working Airlock. Fully customizable.

When the player hits either a lever or the door switch, the door will open slowly, and the screen will get fuzzy, blur, shake.

Thats not all. Any additional items in the room will be sucked out and up into space. You can see also, that a kind of fog, like in dead space, is washed over and around the player outside.

Last of all, the airtimer will work here perfectly.

Screenshot 2

(look at the framerate in both images. This is actually, a large outdoor level, and has lens flare, and lens glare on all of the lights.

oh, and a water pool inside.

Would it be possilbe to change the camera effect using a triggerzone & script in your mod ? like Tomb raider for example ? That would make your mod criminal great I am glad that there is finally a alternative to the EFX mod. Good work to the wizmod team!

Hey Wiz i got the script working perfectly now. So I'm waiting on you to release a new beta with the new intensity scripts for blur and screenshake to adjust em for realism. No rush tho just letting you know my progress. BTW it's called pulse.fpi You'll see what it does soon enough unless slicer or i already mentioned it.
