At the bottom of http://mirror.ati.com/developer/Samples/DepthExplosion.html, there's a zip file, explaining how you can get better explosions by messing around with sprite depth.. or whatever.

Anyway, the zip contains images for a kick ass 30 frame explosion.

Since the readme doesn't mention any Ts&Cs on using the media given with the tutorial, I'm not sure whether you could actually use it in a commerical release.

Still cool though.

I opened the case to my PC today and thought, my exhaust fan sucks.

If you are in the UK, one of the 3D mags has ParticleIllusion 2 SE as a freebie on the cover CD. It kicks ass!!!!! More explosions that you could ever dream of, plus smoke, water, stars, fire, anything at all! I just did a test video of my son drilling with a toy drill, then I added sparks, smoke, and finally fire. It looks very real!

Thanks in advance.
All the Best,

How big is it? I could provide you with upload space...

Wait a minute - it's not time limited is it?

I opened the case to my PC today and thought, my exhaust fan sucks.
