Hello! I have been trying to figure out whether or not I should get FPSC X10 or the one meant for XP. I have tried out the one for XP and it keeps failing on me, I can't play through maps and there is no color in the segments.. it's just such a headache. I really a total TOTAL newbie..
But the thing is, I am running Vista with direct X 10 and I know that because of this I should get FPSC X10.. but I have been reading that there are certain graphics cards that won't work. What I have is an ATI Radeon X700 Pro and I did not find it in any list that said that it would work well with it. I don't know if the problem I am having with the trial versions of the FPSC for XP is that all the updates and whatever are for Direct X 9 when I have X 10. I'm just so confused and the due date for my project is so near. Please help! Thankyou so much!
P.s. according to the DxDiag, My machine has Windows Vista Home Premium, Dell Inspiron 530, Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, E4500, 2.20 GHz, 2 gigs of RAM and once again Direct X version 10.
