Well The thread is a bit of an opinion of you to lead me on a right track

You see most of the World Builders specialize in Large open area development
and the Map creators that deal with paths Usually have indoor based functions.

So if you know a program that fits these needs then please inform me!

Or would it be better if I forget this whole deal and just create the whole map in Blender?(sigh....hard)

Yeah, have to say blender is your best bet.
lthought what I would do is just make it in small sections, it will be much easier to manage (especially if you spend a little time planning).
May I ask, are you planning to make this level in blender then put it in a game engine?

Well what since Blender is my best choice i'm going to have to find some tutorials for it since I barely know how to export shades

As for Rich's question I was planning on doing exactly as your advice said. and Yes I'm putting it in a game engine

I recommend making the level as several seperate meshes if possible. Make the ground (terrain) and any buildings or objects all seperately, then just place them all properly within your game.

Advantages of this - MUCH easier to texture, and easier to get a lot of detail on the texture, because you don't have to fit everything on one UV map. Objects can be used with physics, exploded, picked up, and many other things can be done with them.
