Hi guys, I'm just wondering if anyone would want a program that lets you add achievements to the game so you can unlock weapons, levels and rooms etc.. after completing specific things in the game.

If you do then please reply and if I get enough interest I'll start on it.

Maybe you could integrate it into fpscip for single player and multiplayer. (if possible, of course.) But yeah, achievements would be awesome, as long as they're fully customisable and easy-to-use.

Ok, there seems to be some interest but about half is people saying it can be done using scripts.

This would be made with a mix of scripts and a small program and it will be fully customizable.

@Hockeykid: I remember your email
I'll send you an email in a sec.

Variables and scripts...

If you have variables checking on each achievement, and with some clever scripting, you could do it quite easily...

Since this will no doubt use some sort of achievement and stat tracking, would you consider implementing a high score tracking option? A high score could be tracked on time or kills or objectives,etc.. And a leaderboard. It just occurred to me now and I think it would compliment the achievements perfectly.

Sounds like a great, really useful tool - especially for those of us (read: me) who are useless at scripting!!

That's exactly who it's being built for.

Is that a name suggestion or is it something that's already been made?
