hello, i recently bought some of errant ai's weapons on TGCS (they're awesome), and i have a question about ironsights.

first of all, i got airmod after reinstalling EVERYTHING and it took me a long time, i got ironsights and they're great. But it said in the weapons readme that you can get ironsights on non-airmod fpsc (where i have all of my custom media) by editing gunspec.txt.
i looked there but i have no idea what to change.
so could someone please tell me what i need to change to get the G36C and M9 pistol (w/torch) to work with ironsights non-airmod?
it said something about animation ranges but i don't really understand.

thanks.

my motto: if it looks awesome, it probbably is awesome.

You have to replace the default animations in the unspec with the ironsights animations, however, this means permanant ironsights and no "shoot from the hip"

I remember asking Errant this a while ago and he did a little tutorial for it in his thread. I'll see if I can find it.

But as meteorite says it doesn't work exactly like it does when using Airmod.

Actually you can also doing it by using the zoomscope method.

But that method kinda sucks.

This previous thread has some discussion about the issue and also I posted there some sort of tutorial guide .zip (not sure what was inside the zip other than it relates to the above video)

thanks, but if you have to have iron-sights all the time i'd rather go withput.

is airmod going to be compatible with the more recent updates soon?
because that way i can use it.
