Am pretty sure this falls in the realms of 3ds chat since its uses the marrcus models to create these life scale models.

You need pepakura viwer/designer preferably (both free)for these, and alot of patience AND S##TLOADS of coffee.

http://www.tamasoft.co.jp/pepakura-en/

Ive started work on the lancer and breast plate already.

It took a while for these to download, download limits on rapid share)// so to save you the trouble the rar. file is below with the full set, (no helm as its marcuss)

thought you'd might enjoy these, i know i will, after thier done and i grow bored of them,, EBAY!

This is not my work as mentioned above,

link to original; (wont let me hot link it?/

As i said this should really fall into the realm of 3d chat since its 3d digi modeling and 3d papercraft.
I wonder what i could do with my models. HOLY CRAP, MY CITY!!!!!!!!!!! YAY ... //rumages for a bit// Now i can make my tower 3d! (//pouring with joy...

Am pretty sure this has been mentioned before in other threads, the crafter not the armour,

so enjoy, I really shoudnt start this till after exams but i just cant help myself...On a whim... To be honest i wouldn't want it any other way...

cheers cb

I used Pepakura to model my face with paper. I through my face together in FaceGen to get all the proportions right then imported the file into Pepakura and I had a perfect paper-cutout-fold diagram for my face.

I used to do a little paper modeling - wow, that one looks complex!

I've always wanted to do this one, always been to lazy and too busy though:

Maybe I'll get motivated now...nah.

Edit: Ooops, link didn't work properly. Click it, then go to Aliens -> Pulse Rifle.

I've actually have been gathering the materials needed to create the HALO armor. I have all the print-outs, and most of the liquid fiberglass and paint. They say to make a decent armor it takes about $100 and 1 year of patient work...I can't wait to start!

Well the design I have is a custom suit design to make it more flexible. I think in all there are 300+ separate pieces. I'd have to build each piece, do the whole fiber-glass coating, build up reinforcements, add electrical components, under coat paint, main paint coat and last assemble the whole suit with under garment to top it off...oly this might take more then a year.

Mind you I have a full time job and 3 kids

Too-chee, Done it over 2 free lessons and lunch, The resin is the trickyist part, that crap gets everywhere.

Spraying and elctricals wont be a problem, Money on the other hand will be, ive completly altered my version of the armour aswell, making a full Gear outfit plus extras. i wonder if id get areested for running dowen the street with a lacncer rifle thst uses a hedge trimmer and a paintball gun?

btw this is going to be my paintballing outfit, am replacing the teeth with brissels and adding a paint cradel belowe the ''saw] so it spins and covers them in paint for up close kills.
