Hey guys, I've decided to finally upload my flyer. This model is fairly high in poly, I think between 35 and 40,000 poly's Sorry but I put a bit of work into the engine. It could be much lower and can still be loaded back into truespace using the newer X file and loading it using the model side of TS than simply crossing over to workspace where it was originally created. All image files that are named file_0 and so on, belong to the newer X file being WFlyer.x and not WflyerOld.x all other texture go with the 3 other file formats that I have saved to.

Same rules as the norm, It is free and not in no way to be sold what so ever, If you want to add it to your game, and you end up selling your game than that is fine so as long as the model itself is not being sold by itself or part of a package deal.

I realize that, that is why I left instructions on how to reload it. so if anyone wants to break it down, it can be very easy to do. Half to most of the polys in this model, is in the engine. Also when I created this, I did'nt have game content in mind.

I am also adding the scene file to make it easier to load for those who have TS 7 installed, Note though that this model was built using workspace and not the model side, Also the whole model has been encapsulated in 3d, so if you are familiar with workspace you may already know how to select the sub objects, if not than just ask and i'll try my best to explain.

Anyways, Thanks for the comments....Tatts

It's 31,580 polies according to Blender. When I deleted the engine and the shafts running from it, it dropped to 10,800. The top and bottom wings have a lot of needless loops running around them that could drop another 1200 polies easy if deleted. The two tail wings hold about 2,500 polies between them.

Basically, delete the engine, optimise the wings, and you've got a much more useable model at 9,000ish faces.
