Can someone please tell me where i can get the official direct x exporter for 3ds max cos the panda .x exporter keeps crashing max.

I have looked all over the microsoft web site but could not find it if someone could give me the link or mail me the file that would be great!

For DirectX 8.1 exporters, download "DirectX 8.1:SDK Extras" at the bottom of the page :-

Or, for DirectX 9.0b, download "DirectX 9.0b SDK Extras - Direct3d Tools" from the same link.
