What would be the best tool to use for making terrain segments like hills and mt sides? I have tried a few things but nothing I use(pretty much cause I dont have the knowlege) will import right and with the proper textures.

Is there a program that easily makes stuff like in the ladscape construction kit?

Tried that but just froze up on opening it. Thanks tho.

I can make terrains in 3ds but getting them to display the texture after making is just been a pain. Unwrap... texture... test, over and over again with no luck. Maybe I am just trying to big of a terrain.
