Heya, I created a very simple box in 3D World Studio, then exported the map as a .dbo file, now when I load up the file it only shows as a bright white texture, not the onces I picked in the editor, is there something i have to do to include the texture files? Or do they just compile into the map and im not doing something right?

I also tried to export it as a .x file and I got the same results. =/

DBPro doesn't understand .stf format textures. Replace them with one of the standard texture types (eg .tga, .jpg, .bmp, .png) and re-export your model.

Yep. DBP and DGDK are just about identical aside from the way that you interface with them--in other words, anything that doesn't work in DBP won't work in DGDK and vice versa.

Well... I changed the textures I was using, now i'm using 1 .jpg and 2 .dds texture files except they still dont load/show!

it just displays as a dark gray for the .jpg and 2 shades of light gray for the .dds I don't understand why its not working here, i've searched over the Game Level tutorial and it says nothing about actually loading the textures provided for the map.

Something i'm doing different, althought it changes nothing, is i have SetCurrentDirectory( "media" ) and places all my models/textures/media related files in there, and the issue is still there.

Someone help?! I'll upload my entire project as a .rar file if needed.

Well i dont know why .dbo files dont work, but when i use it as a .x file it shows all the textures fine, so thats what i'll be using until i figure out whats up with the .dbo's
