This has been answered many times. Simply rotate the character on the x-axis (either downward or upward, depending on whether or not you are falling/jumping) and move the character whatever amount before setting the x-axis back to 0.

I agree, though I must tell you now: pretty much everything in DP is going to be difficult. It's possible though. I've seen it in action. You probably just have to work a little harder than you thought.

Um... what? I'm kinda new -- I'm still trying to nail down which DP movement command (displacement, char controller, etc.) you use in certain cases, so that flew completely over my head.

Currently working on - Enemy AI using Dark A.I. I probably should've looked at the reviews in the Dark Physics and Dark A.I. forum first.

well i made my own jump without the cc, but what i really hate with dps character controller is if you walk over a static platform, you dont fall! the cc justs sits there!! i really dont think the cc is effected by the physics at all.
i wonder if there even working on dp to improve it??

My advice is to not use the character controller. It has far too few commands to be of much use. Make your own - it will be more work but certainly worth it. I'm currently using DarkPHYSICS and Sparky's for character sliding collision.

I took a DB class last year (all my programming experience so far ) but in the class we had to take a game template basically that had a basic level and the physics and what not already programmed but in the program there was some code that was used to jump that was prenty lengthy but it worked well to simulate gravity but sadly i dont remember the code but i know it can be done

Move your character controller 0 every loop and it will fall. move it 10 and it falls faster forward. Tell me that's not a bug? What ISN'T buggy in DBP + DarkPhysics?
