I dont know lighting, but Im going to say whay every other person says.

What version of FPSC are you running, and what OS?

And, On my count, A guess is that if one of the segments are Interior, and the other Exterior (X and A keys)

Indeed a light issue, set your lightmapquality higher in the setup.ini file

Well its just me but as it would appear aa is turned off (anti-aliasing) to fix simply right click your desktop go nVidia control panel and in the tool bar you can change it hope this helps

P.s if your not using a nVidia card i'm not sure but i'm guessing the same thing.

Last night i lay awake in bed and looked at the stars and thought to myself, hey! where'd the roof go. -? I am a nobody, Nobody is perfect, Therefor I am Perfect.- Rob

Pyro1250: anti-aliasing has nothing to do with lighting and the specific issue seen here.

For the interested: AA reduceres "jagged" egdes on world geometry and egdes. While AA does give better image quality it also takes a lot of processing power.

Look closely at this image:

The last diamond has smothed egdes due to anti-aliasing. In 3D worlds this can hugely smooth out the nasty "jaggies" as they are called. Sometimes this is also refered to as a "stairs effect".

Yeah what i would suggest is turning up the lightmap quality, to maybe 60/70?

That could help but go into file -> Prefrences and make sure that shaders and lighting are on the highest

1.0 upgrade ? There is no 1.0 upgrade , thats the default program version. Update to 1.07 and see how that goes.

Why would you want him to upgrade to a version that is more than a year old? V1.15 has been out for some time and is supported by the major mods too.

You could at least ask what version he is currently using.
