Hi, im having a problem installing this component, when i start it up it comes up the user license, it then says "extracting dxsdk_aug2007.exe" , only problem it, it only ever loads 3 bars, then resets, loads 3 bars, then resets, and thats it. iv downloaded it twice and it does the same thing.

is this normal and i just have to leave it for a while?

Installing DXSDK should not be a problem. You can try to extract the archive somewhere on the hard disk and then search inside the installer... and run it!

First say to yourself what you would be; and then do what you have to do.
