Hey.

So this is my band's first recording session. And first rehearsal.

We noticed the verse was a little shaky (vocal wise) and that the change form the intro to the first verse was too abrupt.

All these things aside, could someone please rate on a scale of one to ten, ten best. Please critique.

I really liked the guitar, and the drums were good too. I thought the drums could do with a bit more variation (that's a matter of opinion though), even if it is just sticking a crash cymbal hit in every now and then - instead of just at the very end. Although generally the instruments worked well.

Yeah, same opinion on the vocals; doesn't really complement the instruments. And with the on the abrupt bit at the start; it would probabaly help if the music didn't momentarily stop then.

6/10 - you're getting there, just work on the vocals.

If you see a thread of mine in GDT, please don't expect it to go anywhere.

Pretty poor recording, so you can't make that much out of it, unfortunately (I can't even be certain whether there is a bass in there or not ).

Well, pretty repetitive... and yeah, the vocals kind of... yeah, you get the point.
Still, for a first rehersal, it could have sounded a lot worse. Kepp on practising, and get something better to record on next time

What's the name of your band?
It sounded pretty good for your first practice, although you may want to look into replacing your vocalist.

Maybe getting a vocalist with.. well, to start, a deeper voice?
