Hi guys, just a quick question.

First off, yes I have looked over the forums for an answer to this,
but to no avail. So, I thought I would just make a thread.

I've started to make some 3ds Max models, I downloaded the PandaX
plugin for Max so I could export my models into Entity Workshop,
and then get them into FPSC.
I then discovered that, whatever textures I have on my Max models,
are no longer there upon exported into Entity Workshop.

I was hoping someone could direct me towards a tutorial that
explains how to go about getting my initial textures from Max to
stay on the model when exported. Or if someone knows, if they
could simply post an answer.
It would be greatly appreciated.

Below is just one model I've made, a telephone pole, that I've
made in Max and got into FPSC.
-I realize it could use some work, it's still in the WIP stage.
When I'm done though, I will surely be releasing it to the
community for free

You don't *Have* to use entity workshop. you can always copy a current FPE file for an Entity in the Entitybank folder and just change the Path to *your* model. And delete the texture path, and if you have a texture, assign it to the path, if not and you're using multiple texture, it should work by not assigning a path at all. (Works for me anyways) Check out my tutorial I made for how to make custom maps from 3ds max into FPSC.

http://gamerz-utopia.com/download.php
And click on FPSC Tutorials. Should be the only tutorial I got in there so far.

I hope it helps you.

(It uses the SAME exact concept)

Man sorry, I hate to be a hassle because I appreciate the help,
but I can't seem to get your tutorial working
Says that either the file is not supported, or it's corrupted.

And when you say change the path, sorry but what exactly do you
mean? In the FPE file is it the "desc =" part I'm changing? Or the
"model =" part? Again, sorry, haha just confused a little.

Thanks for replying though.

Copy an existing entity, then simply open up the .fpe and change the model= and texture= lines to your needs, also change the desc= line and rename the .fpe to your model like pole.fpe, same with the small picture and thats it.
