And it's just a link to the other thread so people are going to post in that thread and not this one.

In my opinion, there is no need for this thread, because as you stated you have already made one in the script section. Weather people choose to look in the script section and comment on your thread is their choice alone. If any forum user was looking for scripts such as these then they would search the scripts section, thus seeing your thread; But making a seperate thread to link to your main thread is just a waste of forum space.
