Dark GDK / how to use .fx files on a cube ??

Hello, pleae can anyone point me in the right direction for the use of

dbSetEffectOn( 2, "c:/media/FurEffect.fx", 0 );

Trying to get a cube to have an effect on it.

If i use the above function the cube becomes invisible.

If i comment this out i see the cube that i created BUT
its plain with nothing on it...

Hopefully someone could show me an example of how to get a .FX file to work on a cube??....

Try using a double backslash instead of a forward one. You also have to texture it (look in the .fx file for the textures and put them on with those "stages" starting at 0)
