Problem I
why do the truespace 7.6 objects get this very dark grey colour witch i cant apply any texture to? why not that "standard" white colour of the objects?

Problem II

When using the object as a CSG in Fpsc segement editor to cut the meshes the truespace object change to a smaler size.

Thank you for your time!

er..is that a screen of Truespace? (i don't think it is...)

Truespace's scale is 1^2 unit = 162 unit in DBP, not sure if this is the same with FPSC. What options are you selecting when exporting? Are you exporting with UV data?

We need a lot more info then what you've supplied so far.

Everything you make in TS will be very small exported as is. To use a model from TS, you will have to scale your object up a lot to match the size of models in fpsc. Everything in Fpsc is very big. I don't play with Fpsc much but I remember reading about this in the community guide. In fact, most all modelers use the 1 unit = 1 meter. I think with Fpsc, it is 100 units = 1 meter or something like that.

(Edit) Also to change the colour of the object, just click on the material icon that looks like a paint palate, when the material editor comes up, just double click on the material ball to the right of your screen, this should bring up some more attributes that can be changed form there double click on the little colour box that appears just below the material ball in the new attributes and the colour picker should come up. from here choose your colour and click ok to change.

To add a texture to your object. What I do is, I clcik on the library tab and from there I usually just pick the TS texture and drag it over to my object just to get the texture to apply. then I click on the material editor, which is the paint pallete icon and the materiall attributes show up, this time with an extra texture icon in the same attiribute list. from double click on the texture icon and a little screen should pop up that you can pick whatever textures you want from there. If you need further explaination on this I will try and make a tutorial for it. just ask if you still need more help......
