Hey Guys!

I would like to start off by apologizing for my recent absence! I know for the past few weeks I haven't been active much, so I am sorry.


Now that the 3D Master competition is drawing to a close, I wondered if you guys had any input on the Competitions and any changes you would like to see to the board.

There are a few changes I have been working on;

-FAQ Section including a Guide to 3D, comparing modeling packages etc.
-List of Tutorials and resources
-Model Database
-Model Request List

So far I've nearly completed the above ideas, but I was wondering if any of you would like to see any more changes?

If so, please feel free to post them here!

Hmm, no one's posted anything yet so I guess I'll go. Well, you already know what my ideas are from when we had the mod election, so I won't go into that. I think what you have on the to do list thus far looks pretty solid.

I think making a spreadsheet comparing modeling programs would be better than listing things out individually. I'm not sure if you have the time to do that though lol.

I'm glad to hear about tutorials being centralized. I know a lot of people have written things in the past. Will there be some sort of quality testing before tutorials are accepted? Or will we just let anything fly?

Speaking of people writing things in the past, I've noticed that sometimes some of them fall through the cracks. We should tell everyone if they had a thread with a tutorial in it at one point about something to send you the link so it can be added. Otherwise we'll be fishing through the passed threads for ever.
