There are invisible wall and floor segments available somewhere on these forums, I'm sure some one will be kind enough to point them out. Oh look, it was me! http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=134248&b=21

Well you could be a little less sarcastic and help the guy out.

I haven't tried it on segments but i know normal static entities you can apply the cubeent.fx or cubemap.fx can't remember which one without N and S and D textures to render it invisible and still have the coolness of collision detection however it will still render a shadow.. only works on X9 without mods can't say if it will work with mods....

I guess it was zynism then

You can use a Pitch Black BMP File as Texture. FPSC interpretes it as transparent.

Or, you can download this one here. Wall entity. Looks black when setting in map editor, but is invisible in test and build. Free for all to use for any reason. Credits nice, but not necessary.

simplest way is to open Paint and make a file with full back color save it as jpg and replace the texture of the entity/segment you want to be invisible.

In FPSC R:0 G:0 B:0 = Transparency

hope this will work
