Are headshots implemented in x10 yet? (Doing extra damage if you hit an enemy in the head)

What sort of story elements are possible? (Triggers with text, Voice overs, Half life 2 style mini cutscenes(Maybe make lights switch on/off, NPC's monsters follow waypoints, make npc's do animations, or make things explode/die when something is triggered))

Is there a digital download available until the dvd arrives?

edit: And what about quicktime sequences? like what I saw in the model pack 22 for fps creator video.

Well, no the headshots do about the same damage as the body shots for now...
And, yes I've been able to add video and sound sequences to story zones.
Waypoints work, however AI system is pretty stupid, and characters continue walking into walls..

I wasn't talking about video sequences when talking about how to make stories. I was talking about ingame story elements.

Mainly, making things explode, making monsters/NPC's spawn, Killing mosnters/ npcs. Making text appear on screen...

I am also curious if quicktime style sequences, are available in x10, like what I saw in the video for model pack 22...

You can do full cutscenes for your game. This allows all of the video you want when you want it.

I think you may be mixing terms. Video sequences have nothing to do with spawning or exploding objects. Nor is it related to text.

- Yes, you can make dynamic entities explode

- Yes you can spawn entities

- Killing monsters is part of the death animation associated with the entity. You can use what X10 provides, or create your own.

- Text on the screen is done via HUD display. Video isn't really practical since I don't think you put the images up in a consistent and timely manner. However I have been proved wrong by creative thinkers before.

- Style sequence grabbing has nothing to do with X10. You can use the in-game video recorder, however it is limited. Most use an external app.
