Your object name is NOT complete. Where's the file extension? Is it a .X file? .DBO? 3DS?

AFAIK, DarkGDK does not support .wings files. .X files are a standard in gaming, and are to some extent in nearly every game (but usually compressed so you don't know). My advice is stick to .x for everything that isnt a bsp tree (and dont try to use darkgdk in built bsp commands).

Thanks jezza. I had my suspisions about that. But i now have a new problem... My laptop only shows the name not the .wings or .x part.
I know it isn't about dark gdk but do you know how to fix it?

Go to Control Panel, find Folder Options, select the "View" tab, untick the box for "Hide extensions for known file types," done.

....Do be careful about changing extensions.

My site, for various stuff that I make.
