Seems I've been looking at all my problems from the wrong angle. Ive just noticed they all have one thing in common, they all try to retreive data from the net.

Is this a usual problem as I havent come across this before?

I do web dev and have built apps in c# with no such issues.

Is there something I must have already done to enable my programs to access the web?
