A triumphant return indeed! It's great to have you back! I guess this thread answers some questions I had over from the other thread.
Crazy, we definitely need to get to know each other bro. I'm just graduating with my animation degree, and you are off to a superb start over in Hollywood. I'm sure we'll both have some good tips for one another. Plus, a little networking never hurt anyone right? I’ll drop you a line sometime soon from my professional e-mail address, not the one linked here. I check both though.
5 a.m. and I’ve worked through the night. It’s time to sleep!
PS: I'm jealous of your school having those fancy tablet monitors!
EDIT:
Ruccus and Azunaki, degrees are meaningless in this industry. Portfolio, portfolio, portfolio. I'm coming from a more humble background, and don't want to move out of Michigan just yet, so even though it's a specialized degree and is a ton more expensive, I envy the quality of education Crazy is getting at a school like that. He has access to some very bright minds in the industry, has the ability to network extensively with people who are already on the west coast (where most of the game dev jobs are) and has access to better technology and software. Yes, you don't need those schools to get in, but yes, I still think it's better. And it's not locking you as much as you think it is. Sure your degree might say "game" in it, but the skills to make it are still there. You can take 3D to commericals, military, medical, ect. Same thing with programming. Anyway, just my two cents. Don't want to turn this into 'that' sort of thread.
