Hey there... have a problem here...

I made an object in Wings3D and saved it as .3ds
When I loaded it into my program it took AGES for it to be loaded.

So I converted it to the .x format using conv3ds.exe

Now it loads very fast but it doesn't get textured at all if I add a texture, and even without a texture it isn't lighted like objects usually are when you create them. It's only the same color all over.

I have tried all kinds of commands in DBPro but nothing works. I have also tried different settings when i convert to .x format. And I have been trying different stuff in Wings3D, but I still can't get it to work.

So if anyone has any ideas to why this happens, please help me out.

Here's a pic of how it looks, and also the code that I'm using.

By the way...

It does the same as a 3ds object, only it takes much longer to load.
So I'm suspecting some kind of save or conversion problem. But I have no idea what it can be. :/

With wings 3D, did you UV Map it? If you didnt, thats why it looks the way it does. Select the object you want to uv map, right click, select uv mapping, and then uv map the thing.
