ive used search and ive seen that you go to build game and edit the level info ~ ambience
well i did that
and in the game
its as bright as daylight.
i want it so only lights i personally add give off light.

help please?

Go to File > Build Game > Level Settings > Global Script. Change the ambience level to 0, but before you press ok, you have to put the cursor in a different value box. For some reason, FPS Creator will not save the changes you make otherwise.

yeah i did that
but i had to change the other ambiances like red blue etc
and i put them to 15
now its realy dark
but the problem is that weapons are realy bright and easy to see
can i make them dark aswell?

There's a few things you could do for that.

If you're using static lights, you can either turn on dynamic lighting (which kills frame rate), OR you can leave dynamic lighting off, and simply place your weapons in a dark area on the map. They should appear as dark (if not black) as the area they were placed.

The more difficult, and semi-pointless route would be to open each guns' textures in a paint program (save a backup of the original textures first!), and lower the brightness of the textures until they're as dark as you want them to be. I wouldn't recommend using this method; one of the other two should work fine
