@DJ master. Yes I did. I emailed him about it. Come to find out if you buy Most model packs from the TGC website, you are free to use them in anyway, which is why they give you 3 separate downloads. I wasn't sure about his, so I emailed him twice about it, but I'm NOT SELLING THEM. Also They will NOT be allowed to be used commercially. So Yes, I've taken the steps that were needed. Bond1 if you see this and have a problem with this please let me know, and I won't post it. I will once again email you.

Sheesh, djmaster. Let's not get judgmental without having all the facts first. That condescending tone helps no one.

Thank you Mehzeb. Like I said before. I have emailed him about it, I told him it wouldn't be sold, it'd be free, and it'd be for non commercial use only. And I will say this once again. If Bond1 does not want me giving this alien away, then that is perfectly fine, and I won't post it.

Fallen One: Got your e-mail, Thanks! will start on them today.

Jewish Dude: If you can obtain any necessary permissions, I'll be glad to add it to the pack. It looks cool as H..., I'd love to play with that one myself.

Hockey kid: Hey Bro, good to hear from you. Thanks. Is there anything you'd like me to add to the pack? The request lines are open.

I'd like to request breakable cryogenics chambers with bodies inside. A variety of them would be awesome. A room full of figures in suspended animation. Would be sweet, methinks.

@CP

I got the gun, UI can't really rig it to the hands, sorry, but I can get it shader ready and working with ironsights, (which would look awesome with that scope...

My ideas for objects

Very large computer screens. 4 ft high / 7 feet high / 12 feet high.

Gun placments, large ones pointed to space or straight forward, and smaller ones characters may stand in or sit in. Auto guns, ones placed on floor others in ceiling or walls.

Complex pipe sections for ceiling and walls. (no sci fi is without those)

Sign sections, free standing from floor or set into walls, (great for adverts like bladerunner, or propaganda for facist games)

Amimated wall and ceiling extraction fans. (great for giving that polluted feel)

Various large, like 7 feet and bigger, tech objects, these are great for filling outdoor areas, or for making rooms with specail machines in them.

Pannels and tech hardware to stick on ceilings and walls.

Computer banks, large free standing ones, like 6 feet high, also smaller size 3 feet high, in various shapes. box, rectangle, hexagon, circle, L shape, T shape, etc.

If we are talking characters, Id say mechs of various sizes, man size and up, they are easier to make as characters as they are not organic, so one can make them quicker and easier, plus they are more fun, as you can have big characters with large weapons, going up in size and the amount of firepower they have, makes for a more interesting game. Also dont have the weapons built in, but have the weapons placed on them, that way one can swap the weapons.
A varient Id like to see is one of them on 4 legs like the Spider Mastermind in Doom, one can go two ways with it, either box type robots like this
http://i.neoseeker.com/p/Games/Xbox/Action/Shooter/the_chronicles_of_riddick_escape_from_butcher_bay_image_GWdl6c3mpxRZGUV.jpg
Or the organic type like this.
http://www.freewebs.com/saibot_theory/enemiez.htm

Escape pod, like in Star Wars (ep 4) and Quake 2.
One with door shut, one with door open, perhaps one bust up and smashed.

CoffeeGrunt: The black gun may happen because either the shader wont support it or renaming the texture causes that as it seems when I export stuff that happens. If you want I can reexport it for you.

No, the texture is the same as in the Gunspec, so I don't think that's the issue...

Unless you UV Mapped it in the modelling program?

Apple Slicer: Hi buddy, if your looking for something to kill some time, How about some new sci-fi themed stuff. your more than welcome to join in, and add to the new pack.

Everyone is welcome, and all will be credited.

Maybe some cool animated console screens, Maybe even a force field barrier that could be placed at the doorway of containment cells.

If you've seen Star Trek, or Star Wars, The semi-transparent, blueish Force field that contains the shuttle bays from space. I could use one that is 2 units high, by 3 units wide, so I can finnish up my sci-fi landing bay.

If you can do something like that, I can include the landing bay in this release.

And for all those who are asking for Characters: I think what I'll do is:

1. Get this pack released
2. Start on a sci-fi weapons pack.
3. Then do a sci-fi character pack.

Then release the weapon, and character packs together as part 4.

Hows that sound?

Falen One: Got 'em. Added to the list.

In the Universe, nothing ever stays the same.

If you could edit the texture to Gun_D2, I can make it shader ready...

Here's an update. I've got some requested segments finished, and have got the new "Cryo Unit" ready for your aproval.

It's animated as seen in the example below. Let me know if this will do.

Would someone be willing to make up a simple script for it?

Drop me a line, and I'll send the files. Thanks.

Now that is sick! Very nice work there CP, looking forward to seeing the rest of your pack

One thing though, sort of hard to tell from the angle though, but would a human body actually fit in there? Sort of a tight squeeze

Thanks so much for your great models CP

Great work as always CP.

I agree with Ekipshi about it being a tight squeeze. Perhaps it could be made to accommodate an actual body in there, I don't mean you create one in there, but each pod large could be enough that the user can place their own model (for example 'CorpseA' from the sci-fi entities) in the pod.

Dale,

The files were sent.

As for placing a body inside, here is CorpseA @ 80% size. You can angle and set him in better with a little work.

Excellent work Dale, thanks for everything.

...no, thank you!

I'm not expecting anything, but perhaps an animated teleportation pod, in the same vein as The Fly would be a tremdendous additon to my media library, and most highly covetted, Cosmic Prophet.

Id like to see a weapons dispenser, I hate in fpsc MP games how weapons spawn like magic, they should come from something, I see that it would be some kind of unit, when a weapon or pick up is inside a light is on green, say red for empty, green for on.

Id also like to see something that brings enemies in, like something that comes out or up/down either from the wall, floor or ceiling, it opens and out comes an enemy, or say a bigger version that brings loads of enemies. The enemies step out and the thing goes back down/up or back into the wall. So when the player sees these things slightly pocking out the wall or ceiling/floor they panic as you don't know if it will come right up from the floor wall or ceiling and deliver enemies, you could also have fake versions, ie the don't have the hidden bit (enemy carrier), just the surface part that can be seen from one of these enemy dispensers. I had a post in the model suggestions on this. I would love to see it be made.

I get it, like the ODST drop pods from Halo, they come down from the sky and allies jump out, although you could have enemies...
