as for me, I've used fps creator for at least a year or 2 now, and have never upgraded past a mixture of v1.00 and v1.09

i believe, i have THE MOST current version of directx9 4.09. or something like that. my computer also meets ALL the minimum system requirements stated on the box. however, when I try to install a sexy newer, less neanderthalic version of fpsc, it says i need august 2006 directX or newer. and I believe 4.09 is newer than 8.06. is there a specific fix or download for this to get everything straightened out and be able to get niceties like plys mod and airmod and lemur and s4mod?

I have been plagued with this issue for a while now.

I believe you actually need the Oct 06 rerelease. I could be wrong but I think its the one to get everything working. Also just because you have the latest doesn't mean you have al the features of the past ones.
