Found this export plugin script a while back on the internet and thought it might be useful. It should correctly export all the vertex data to .X and (usually) the UV data. To use it just drop the file into the plugins folder in your sketchup directory and it should appear under the plugins menu. If your having problems try exploding the model and make sure your using sketchup 6 or 7 (haven't tested any others).
