Is it possible to run a simple game (a card game) on
a graphics card which does'nt have 3d acceleration.
I think i Dark Basic u could use the
"Set Emulation On" command.
Is there anything similar in D.B.Pro.(the set
emulation on command is'nt in dbpro)
thank you

a far as I know, even in classic the set emulation on command only worked to slow your code down, you still had to have a 3d card in the first place even if you never used it or db would not initialise (which makes the existance of the command a bit weird, it`s useless realy), if you want to make 2d games that run on a machine with no 3d card then you are stuck as far as know, DB classic or pro need a 3d card to be present or they won`t run, even with set emulation on, pro uses 3d for the sprites anyway so it would still need the card for a pure 2d game.
