Who is game creation?

And to answer your question, there's a difference between formats that Blender supports and formats that Blender supports well. There are hundreds of exporters and importers you can find for Blender but a fraction of them are fully functional.

The importance of knowing blender import/export formats varies depending on whether you actually use blender or not Even then there are a lot of formats, so only the most common ones are worth remembering, I would think, .3ds .x .obj etc.

If you see a thread of mine in GDT, please don't expect it to go anywhere.
