Hello :

this my new tutorial, after a series of tutorials that was dealing with dark gdk integration with other
third party libraries .but this tutorial is about my new library "darkvideo.lib",written for dark gdk(but
also works for any engine that uses directx).it is a very small and basic video playback engine
that can be easily integrated with dark gdk.i made it free (but not open source). darkvideo uses
directshow VMR9 for video playback, but it is very simple to use.

here is a simple example.

Important Notelease ,if you liked my tutorials ,and found it helpful ,vote for my game in the intel
game demo contest 2009.

The link of the site is:

and my game is : Driving Unlimited .
By: mahmoudgalal.

the game is a racing game.

the game link is:
href]

[/href]

i will be very grateful for any one vote for me.

Thanks in advance.

Hi:

you need to download the library first,(the download link at the lower right corner of the post).
the zip file contains darkvideo.lib and the header file darkvideo.h .use this simple example :

1) then from project properties menu,go to Configuration properties-CC++-General -additional include directories ,add the directory where you unzipped the the file.

2) do the same for Configuration properties-Linker-general -additional library directories

3) add "DarkVideo.lib" (without quotes)at linker -input -additional dependencies

Note: please vote for my game( "Driving Unlimited"by mahmoudgalal) in the intel
game demo contest 2009.

this is the link:
