I was really bored today so I made a low-poly pirate ship!

You can download it here:

Crit is welcome, but kind of pointless since the model has already been uploaded. However I will keep it in mind for future models.

that's pretty sweet (but pirate ships generally have the pirate flag removable to put country flags up to confuse ships before they attack)

Considering the stylized look of the model, I doubt that he was going for total realism :p

Nice free pirate ship! If you were to sell it make it worthy, pirates usually stole money which in turn equals money and would have a Cadillac of boats. The boat looks way too clean cut, a mermaid on the front may make it more distinguishable.

...I must concur. Brass, ornate woodwork, and cannons...lots of lovely cannons would indeed adorn such a worthy sea vessel.

Great job on this ship. I look forward to seeing more in the future...

Thanks.

I tried to go for a bright and saturated look to the texture, and a lighting setup to match, so thanks.

Ya, I agree that it could use more detail, but I wanted to keep it really low-poly (its around 840 atm) and I'm no good at adding detail like that in the texture.

you could always aim for a realistic look(search up some pictures) combine somethings.

and also i think it would fit a British navy boat better.

Dude, no joke, but that seriously looks like it came out of a commercial RTS, very nice.

I could actually agree with that, albeit one with a slightly cartoony style.
