All questions, and all of those in here!
i am trying to help everone i can!

BUT, i have question too, for the makers of the FPS-C.
Could the loading time be just little faster in game?
Because i have this one level (ofcourse i have hundreds of levels xD )
but this one, i have done it for couple weeks noe, and its freaky awesome! (in my opinion, and some of my freands )
BUT the map got REALLY MASSIVE number of entitys! and you know what it will do... It loads 20-MINUTES of the map. so, could the fps-c be more powerful, and faster. than its now?

Welcome to this forum REllU.

1) use 1.15. update. (loads faster)

2) put as much as possible in you textures.

Example. draw or mix a painting in the walltexture.
instead of placing it individual.

See pic. i mixed the lights in ceiling.
this is also better for your framerate.

hope this will help you a little.

As SanXL points out you should use v1.15: http://www.fpscreator.com/downloads.html

Try to test your levels often and see if they work along the way. Don't just add hundreds of entities and hope it all works in the end. Game design is not about throwing every object into a level

thanks but i got already the 1.15.
and that painting would be cool. but cant use it, because i use the errants LED light in the level, so it needs the lights, and dark places. and thanks to welcoming

ouch 20 minutes and I thought 3 minutes is too much

anyway here are the factors affecting loading time the most
- lights (the most important)
- processor ofcourse
- number of entities
- dynamic objects

here's wut u should do
- there's no way to get around lightings, so the best thing to do is to make a game launcher that allows user to turn lighting on/off as he desires, without lightings levels load about 70% faster..
users with high processors (core2due or core2quad) take less than 2 minutes to load a full level, (dual core) takes 3-5 minutes..

- the more entities you have the more it takes longer to load (especially characters), so the best thing to do is not to spawn characters at the begining but spawn them with proper scripts at runtime..

- Dynamic objects also take time calculating physical properties, so whatever item ur not using just make it static..

do the ubove suggestions (especially 2-3) and u'll save about 15 minutes of loading assuming u have a P4 processor..

ofcourse also SanXL suggestion is good but am afraid it's too exhausting and nearly impossible for rooms with too many entities.. but if ur up to it it will save u alot since u won't have to use lightings anymore..

Know all of those things, but still thanks
PS: the room doesn´t have any enemys
but two weapons, and dynamic lights. i have turned ALL other items to static in the first place.
