Its kinda crappy but I just started using it yesterday

I know all this in blender just in 3 hours of using it.

Ok here's an updated version with a sun and a yellow cone now all I really need is a 3rd person camera.

.blend is Blender's internal format - he has attached the 'game' in its entirety

.blend files though... weird format that is. It's just like an internal "brain dump" of the entire session, I had a look at it once before, it's somewhat unpleasant to behold :/

EDIT:

Err.. seems to be very early days. Your game doesn't alter the camera, so unless it's set perfectly, half of the "gameplay" isn't visible. It also doesn't seem to do much of anything other than move, although I may have missed half the content due to the camera being static. It's a good start, considering Blender's game engine is horrible to use, but you may want to lay off of super monkey ball comparisons, because it... well, sets it up for a fall

I made this thing to prove to this awesome blender programmer on youtube named laxwolf that I wasn't a total noob in blender and that I will give him creds if he gives me his template I mean he's awesome with blender which is kinda why I really want this template so I can study it. Maybe I could change the actuators and see the effect because I know some jumping physics and basic and physics movement. If I had that template I would probably learn alot more about the use of actuators a little bit of coing and probably how to create a mouselook.

Well, I think that using the template/prefab monkey head as a player character is poor way to prove you're not a n00b with Blender

I updated it download the new version and if you can please tell me how to make a 3rd person camera the help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: regardless I need to know how to make a 3rd person camera.

Ok here is the new version press r to reset but for some reason when I press space it dosn't pause even though I put in the sensors for it to. Its supposed to reset when you hit the cone but it dosn't.

I suppose its a nice start, but to get anywhere at all with Blender's game engine you're going to have to learn Python as well as the Blender Game API.

Tell me about it! The BLEND file format is essentially a memory dump of the Blender scene, probably due to the very complex nature of Blender sessions. One BLEND file can contain dozens of scenes, and 20 layers in each scene, as well as dozens of materials, models, textures, game logic datablocks, rigid bodies, softbodies, fluids, etc. And I suppose that its much faster to simply copy a large chunk of data into memory then other alternatives.
