I've been interested in making sound effects recently (really dunno why) I'm not that good, ive actually never done it before

Well, i was playing around with my microphone and touching up the things in Audacity (FTW )

Came up with this little sound, loop it and you've got the sounds of a really old, very large freight elevator. Sounds like it;s in an empty chamber/room. Well...there you have it, enjoy

The origins of this sound are quite funny

All the best

Yeah... got hurt when i tripped... on some bullets

Here have another
Loop it and you could use it as the alarm for some alien ship or some strange machine or whatever the heck you feel like!

All the best

A little tip

When you’re finalizing a sound. Before doing the cut for looping purposes. Make sure that your starting point is at a Zero location on the timeline and that your ending point is at a Zero location as well.

This will avoid the POP in more then 90% of the time.
