CURSE SONY!!! They're makin me spend to much moolah! lol ok first I bought a game only for PS2; it's made by Sony. It was called Everquest Online Adventures. Only 20 bucks . Common sense told me that you need a PS2 Network Adapter. But I bought the game just to see if you can do anything without an adapter. Nope ! Okay fine, I buy a blasted network adapter. But then i need some wireless hub thing(note that I find this out after i get the adapter)!!!! 150 bucks!!!! grrrrr! Sony has made me so mad recently...they're even coming out with the PS3 in 2005! Curses! then I'll have to go by new games!

lol do you think I should spend less time shopping and more time programming?

Which reminds me, what are your opinions aabout sony? Feel free to post!

Actually Kanzure, I'm not really sure(that rhymes ) I just searched for it on the internet...by the way I'm new here... I'm being very careful to be polite, and to not use e-lingo . See, there was this one time, maybe a little more than a year ago. I was trying to make a Star Wars FanFilm on TFN. I logged onto their forum and asked a question. I asked a question like: "were can u get a video editor from? plz tell me!" This e-lingo returned no results. Then i said something like this:"u guys are idiots!" I was banned from the forums. Sure I acted like a dope, but hey, it sure makes one cautious...

Btw, is anyone here familiar with FanFilms?

Consoles are a waste of money unless you've got lots to spend .

If you really must play them, get a decent one, an Xbox. The GameCube is incredibly weak and the PS2 is... well, you have it right there, dontcha?

forget console platforms all together! IMHO they are a waste of money. I game strictly on the PC and look at all the fringe benefits like email, dbpro forums, porn, online bill paying, etc etc etc
I have an XBOX (which is a low end pc) and I have used it maybe 10 times since I've had it. I use it as a dvd player for living room tv once in a blue moon, otherwise it's a 300 dollar dust collector. LOL

Personaly, Nintendo in my opinion, is for kids 10 and under. X-Box is off the hook!!! But when you mash the buttons, your fingers hurt like crazy. Those bummy constrols. Finally, Sony has no clue what they're doin, but the PS2 is great!

out of all three yes xbox is more powerful, by a fraction. Pity that its titles are mostly bug ridden or very poor attempts at games. And nintendo aimed at kids 10 -? how many stupid kiddy games are on the ps2 and xbox like spyro etc, spyro is on cube aswell but it was originally a ps game. Not many ten year olds will be into rogue squadron, eternal darkness (ok they will cause they rock), these titles are aimed more at the teen to adult range most of whom grew up with nintendo. I wont even begin to coment on the ps2, its cheap parts and inferior sys specs dont make it worthy (wait thats not counted as a comment )

I own all the consoles.

Xbox is my favorite by far.

I played EQOA for a while, but the kiddie factor turned me away. But im thinking of going back to it. THere are a couple servers with a high majority of adult people..

EQOA is a good game, and frontiers is coming up soon, and looks like a good addon.

I own a PS2 and a GC, I'll wait on the Xbox untill Fable comes out. The systems make little differance, it's the games that really matter.
