Dark GDK / Texture atlas in Dark GDK

Hello. Is Dark GDK creating textures atlas from all loaded sprites, or i need to make texture atlas myself for a speed reduce?

No, it is not automatically created. At least, not in a visible form for the user. I don't know if any such optimization tricks are used inside the engine.

**EDIT: I just found this in the thread which lists updates in the next version of DB Pro:

"Rewrite of sprite rendering process to group sprites with common priority and textures together to enhance the speed of rendering."

Since DBP and the GDK engine have a lot in common, the engine probably does have optimization, or will have it in the near future.

Thank you! I tried to make atlas and loaded sprites "as is". Texture atlas much faster ).

Ok, u will find a texture atlas realisation in the wrapper for Magic Particles which will released soon...
